NEWS JUST IN CHILDREN’S EDUCATION AND CARE TRAINING PACKAGE HAS BEEN ENDORSED
It’s news we’ve all been waiting for and it’s been a long time coming. But at the meeting on the 20th April 2021, the AISC finally endorsed the Children’s Education and Care Training Package.
- Major announcements in the final approval included the AISC agreeing to:
Retain the Certificate III entry requirements for the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care - Delete the Certificate IV in School Age Education and Care
The following qualifications will therefore soon be published on training.gov.au:
- CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
- CHC30221 Certificate III in School Based Education Support
- CHC40221 Certificate IV in School Based Education Support
- CHC50221 Diploma of School Age Education and Care
We should see the new qualifications on training.gov.au within 2 – 3 weeks.
